Design custom contact lenses for keratoconus, pellucid marginal degeneration, post-surgical LASIK/RK/PRK/Intacs, corneal dystrophies, corneal truamas, aniridia, graft-versus-host-disease and transplanted corneas by designing the following custom lenses: EyePrintPRO prosthetic, scleral, hybrid, piggyback, rigid gas permeable and various soft custom contact lens designs. Pre- and post-operative care for a wide range of anterior segment surgeries including: a wide range of corneal transplants, cataracts, Intacs, corneal cross linking, conductive keratoplasty, accommodating IOL’s, phakic IOL’s, scleral implants and refractive excimer laser procedures.

Active member of the World Council of Optometry, the Tear Film and Ocular Surface Society and the American Public Health Association Vision Care Section. Headed the design and implementation of the UCLA Mobile Clinic eye care services for the homeless population in Los Angeles. Past Los Angeles County Optometric Society Board of Director who led the Continuing Education Committee and Webmaster Content. Prior Director of Contact Lens Services and Assistant Professor for almost a decade at the University Eye Center at Ketchum Health Los Angeles where I instructed 4th year Optometry Interns on both a wide variety of ocular disease management and constructing specialty contact lens designs for irregular corneas.

Current: 1) A primary investigator in a 5-year cost analysis of teleretinal imaging vs. standard dilated retinal exams that screen for diabetic retinopathy in a large urban adult safety net population in Los Angeles with the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services and 2) a Senior Manager of the Clinical Affairs Team for the Visibility Implant System for presbyopia. Past: 1) Site coordinator and sub-investigator in FDA Phase III monitored IDE clinical trial for scleral spacing for presbyopia, 2) Sub-investigator for beta testing of NovaKone spherical and toric lenses for irregular corneas, 3) Sub-Investigator for the redesigned Duette hybrid incorporating silicone hydrogel material and 4) Principal Investigator for beta testing of SynergEyes ClearKone design, awarded by Connect with the Most Innovative New Product Award for 2009.
